Overview

IndieBrotherhood is a free-to-start, project-based music workflow app connecting songwriting, audio review, blind peer feedback, learning, mastering, metadata, split information, royalty preparation, and release planning in one browser workspace.

The suite is designed for independent artists, producers, songwriters, collaborators, and small creative teams who want practical tools without giving up ownership of their music. Some community, cloud AI, storage, and payment features require an eligible account, while the public overview and local tools remain available to explore.

What you can do

  • Write and review lyrics, rhyme patterns, syllables, and cadence.
  • Analyze audio and receive clearly labeled advisory observations.
  • Collect structured blind peer feedback before release.
  • Organize release metadata, split information, catalogues, and creator workflows.
  • Learn through Sonic IQ quizzes, challenges, progress, and accessible practice modes.

How to begin

  1. Start free with access to the tools, 150 included monthly Brotherhood Coins, and 1 GB of uploaded-audio storage.
  2. Choose or create a song project, then open the studio needed for the current task.
  3. Review the tool description, privacy notes, and any Coin cost before submitting work.
  4. Save or export results that you want to keep. Brotherhood Coins are non-crypto in-app usage credits with no cash value.
  5. Artist Pro is optional at $14.99 USD per month and includes 1,500 monthly Coins and 10 GB of uploaded-audio storage.

Questions about the workspace

What is IndieBrotherhood and who is it for?

IndieBrotherhood is a web workspace for independent music creators who handle songwriting, audio preparation, feedback, and release organization themselves. It brings those tasks around a song project so you can keep useful context as you move between connected studios. Start with an existing draft or recording and choose the next task that helps your music move forward.

How does a song project connect the tools?

Create or select a song in Project Vault. Connected studios can use its title, artist, lyrics, notes, metadata, and checkpoints where supported. Explicitly saved project audio can be reused in Hit Analyzer and Mastering Suite. Save useful revisions as you work and keep your own backups of original recordings and exported results.

Is it free, and what does Artist Pro cost?

The Free plan includes tool access, 150 monthly Brotherhood Coins, and 1 GB of uploaded-audio storage, with no credit card required. Artist Pro costs $14.99 USD per month and includes 1,500 monthly Coins and 10 GB of uploaded-audio storage. The paid subscription renews until canceled. Check the pricing and purchase terms before subscribing.

How do Brotherhood Coins work?

Brotherhood Coins are in-app usage credits for disclosed cloud and AI actions. Basic editing, local analysis, and community participation do not spend Coins. Included Coins refill on the first of each month in UTC without rollover; purchased and service-credit Coins do not expire while your account remains open. Coins are not cryptocurrency, cannot be transferred or traded, and have no cash-redemption value. Eligible failed cloud requests restore their charged Coins.

What can I do with lyrics and audio?

Use Lyric Pro to develop and revise lyrics, rhyme ideas, and cadence. Hit Analyzer offers AI observations about uploaded audio, including structure and mix choices. Mastering Suite provides browser audio processing, listening comparisons, and WAV export. Treat suggestions as material to evaluate with your own ears and creative judgment; they do not guarantee a hit or replace your recording workflow.

How long does blind peer review take?

Judgement Zone collects structured feedback through a blinded 10-reviewer workflow. The review community is in early development, so completion can take longer while participation grows. Submitted tracks remain pending while awaiting reviews, and the submitting account receives an in-app notification when the review is complete. There is no guaranteed turnaround time or commercial outcome.

Does RoyaltyOps collect royalties or register my song?

RoyaltyOps helps organize split information, contributors, ISRC details, and release metadata. OCR-assisted extraction can reduce retyping, but you must check every field and percentage against the original documents and confirm agreements with contributors. It prepares records; it does not collect royalties, issue official ISRCs, or register works with a distributor or performance-rights organization.

Who runs the app, and how can I get help?
